Russian Rotary Children Music Competition was founded by the Rotary Club “Moscow International” in 2002.  The Competition became international in 2004 and the 5th International Russian Rotary Children Music Competition will be hold in Moscow in March 2007 in the concert hall of the Central Music School of the State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
(Semifinals 25.03 and Finals 27.3.2007)

Participate can all children aged 8 to 12 years which are playing the following music instruments:
Piano, violin, violoncello and wind instruments.

The participation is free of charge. Age limit 12 years means, that the children should be until 31.03.2007 younger then 13 years.

This music competition is supported by famous musicians like Vladimir Spivakov, Jurij Bashmet or Natalya Gutman (Chair of the Jury in 2004).
Participants must send through any Rotary Club ( preferably from their town or their country) Video or DVD with recorded performance of the candidate until 31.12.2006 to the Organizing Committee. They can choose to play 1 peace of 20 to 30 minutes or 2 peaces of 10 to 15 minutes or 3 peaces of 7 to 10 minutes. ( classical music only)
The Jury will choose 14 best candidates to be invited to the semifinals in Moscow. After live performance at the semifinals, 7 best will be chosen for the Finals.
The prices which will be awarded to semifinalists and finalists and other details can be seen in the Rules of the Music Competition at www.rc-mi.org.
All participants who have sent Video or DVD to the Organizing committee will receive a Diploma of the Competition.
